EK VAHI EK PEN
Prayas Youth Forum and Social Awareness Foundation organized the “EK VAHI EK PEN” initiative during the Ganpati festival. The festival, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the deity of wisdom and knowledge, served as the perfect occasion to initiate an effort that aligns with the values of learning and growth that Lord Ganesha represents. The idea behind “EK VAHI EK PEN” was simple yet powerful: encourage individuals to donate new or gently used educational supplies, such as notebooks, pens, and other essential stationery, as offerings during the Ganpati festival. By transforming a traditional religious offering into a tool for education, this initiative aimed to empower students who are unable to afford these basic supplies, allowing them to continue their studies with the necessary materials.
